("us", "we", or "our") operates the https://freetext.ai website (the "Site" or the "Service"), a company registered in the Republic of Singapore with registration number 201818719N and registered office at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore (049422). We are the data controller of your personal data.

We respect the privacy of anyone and everyone who uses the FreeText AI Site and/or Service. This Privacy & Cookie Policy (this Policy) informs you of our policies with regards to the data we collect about you, how you use the site (the Site) or FreeText AI service (the Service), how we store and use that data and the choices you have associated with that data.

If you have shared your data with a FreeText AI client, and that FreeText AI client has shared your data with us, you should contact the FreeText AI client to review their privacy policy, and note that the provisions of paragraphs 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 shall apply to the use of your personal data. In such and similar circumstances, we are the processor of your personal data and the FreeText AI client is the data controller.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data

When you register to use our Site and/or Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can then be used to identify or contact you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

If your employer has registered with us instead of you, you may still register to use the Site and/or Services, and you also must provide us with your personally identifiable information such as name and email address. Once you have successfully registered, you will be provided with a password to access your account. You agree to keep confidential and not disclose to any other individual or individuals the username and password related to your FreeText AI account.

When you contact us via post or email or chat or through our contact form on our Site or telephone, we may maintain a record of the correspondence and/or record of the telephone call we have with you.

All personal data that you provide must be complete, true and accurate. You must not register under anyone else's name. If you provide us with false or inaccurate data, and we identify or suspect fraud, we will record and/or report this. In addition, we may search for information on you as part of our due diligence process to ensure we comply with anti-money laundering laws and legislation.

FreeText AI Pte Ltd may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

(a) We may share your Personal Data with any third party agents, service providers and sub-contractors that we may appoint from time to time to perform functions on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, including accountants, auditors, lawyers, payment providers and IT service providers.

(b) Under certain circumstances we may have to disclose your Personal Data under applicable laws and/or regulations, for example, as part of anti-money laundering processes or protect a third party's rights, property, or safety or to enforce our service agreement.

(c) We may also share your Personal Data in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company.

(d) We may also share your Personal Data to comply with any legal obligations, to protect the personal safety of users of the Service or public, to protect and defend the property or rights of FreeText AI, to protect against legal liability and to prevent or investigate possible wrong doings in connection with the Service.

(c) Where we have given, or you have chosen a secure password, and you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.

(d) However, you also acknowledge that no system can be completely secure. Therefore, although we take necessary steps to secure your personal data, we cannot entirely ensure that your personal data will always remain completely secure.

7. Accessing and Updating – Your rights

(a) You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal data that we hold for you, and to require us to correct any errors in the personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate. 8. Retention

(a) We will retain your personal data for as long as you remain a customer of the Service and for 6 months after you cease to be a customer for audit purposes and to respond to any queries you may have about your account, data or usage, except where we are required to retain your personal data for taxation or accounting purposes, for a longer duration.

(b) We shall retain your email address until you opt out of receiving communications via email by contacting us or clicking "unsubscribe" from the marketing email.

(c) If you contacted us with a question or comment, we shall retain your personal data following such contact to respond to any further queries you might have.

(d) If we have received your personal data from a FreeText AI client, we shall retain that personal data in accordance with the instructions we receive from the FreeText AI client.

9. General

(a) If any provision of this Policy is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable or invalid, then such provision shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties and all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

(b) This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of Republic of Singapore, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.

10. Changes to this Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes to this Policy will be published here on this page. and, when appropriate, a prominent notice will be displayed on the Site and/or an e-mail notification will be sent out, prior to the change becoming effective.
